Wheatgrass is a weed which is stored with nutrients.



The amount of nutrients derived from two and a half pounds of greens is similar to the amount in an ounce of wheatgrass juice. It is storehouse of vitamins, chlorophyll and other nutrients. Increased red blood cells level is indicative of wheat grass supplementation. This is attributed to the similarity in structure, existing between chlorophyll and hemoglobin, except for the element in the middle, which is magnesium in the former and iron in the latter.



This also results in the increase in the nutrient and oxygen load to the various body parts.

Consumption of chlorophyll is a simple and cost effective technique to change the (alkalize) blood pH and rejuvenate the body. Wheatgrass juice helps in the detoxification process, by acting as a wash. It also makes you feel fresh, when added in the bathtub.



Wheatgrass juice has enzymes, that act in co-ordination with other enzymes and is beneficial in the metabolic functions and processes.

Wheatgrass juice, also referred to as ‘liquid chlorophyll’ helps in detoxification of the liver, cleaning of colon and purification of blood. It is a good source of vitamins B, A, E, K and C, sulfur, calcium, potassium, magnesium and amino acids. It is proven beneficial under various conditions, such as, anemia, diabetes, cancer, eczema, constipation, kidney swelling and common cold. The magnesium in wheatgrass helps in triggering the action of many more enzymes. Laetrile (Vitamin B17) is necessary for cancer treatment and vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, thereby reducing cholesterol levels.

Two ounces of the juice is similar to drinking two cups of coffee.  It is a complete protein and comprises 30 enzymes. It increases the red blood cells and activates growth. It also brings down hypertension. It is a strong cleanser and helps in lymph drainage. It aids in maintenance and weight control. It is necessary to drink it on an empty stomach. The appestat in the brain is closed, thereby resulting in a decrease in appetite by reducing the craving. Psoriasis is another disorder, along with eczema, that is reduced.



Wheatgrass juice is helpful in alleviating dandruff and provides a shiny and healthy hair.

It has the capacity to nullify the toxic materials and helps in exhibiting anti carcinogenic property.  It enhances the digestion process and helps in wound healing. It also protects the teeth from a decay and micro organisms. It prevents premature graying of hair by possessing anti-ageing capacity.
