Natural Detox Diet with Raw Foods

How appropriate is the Raw Food Detox diet to you, requires further personal details. But the benefits of the diet and other details regarding the diet are furnished below. As the name indicates, the raw food detox diet focuses on the consumption of foods that are uncooked and unprocessed. Some of the foods included under this group are sprouts, dried fruits, nuts, seaweed, fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and beans. The thought behind this diet is that cooking inhibits the 'life force' of foods. Heating or cooking at high temperatures result in the decrease of the enzymes in foods. • Enhanced complexion.
The raw food detox diet has reduced levels of Trans fats and other saturated fats. The sodium levels are low. It is a storehouse of other nutrients, such as folate, potassium, fibre, phyto chemicals and magnesium.

The cooking techniques that are allowed in this kind of diet are blending, soaking of nuts, sprouting of seeds, dehydrating foods and juicing of vegetables and fruits. Organic foods are preferred. Wholesome and unprocessed foods, such as dried fruits, coconut milk, sea weeds, fresh fruits, grains, vegetables, legumes, seeds, purified water, seeds and fresh juices. Certain side effects, such as nausea, cravings and headaches are common, during the initial stages. Nutrient deficiencies are also possible. Detoxification reaction is also seen to occur.
