Dandruff and hair loss cure Our hair is supposed to be the crowning glory of the whole body. If our hair is not healthy, then it can affect our appearance as a whole. Split ends, dandruff or dirt may affect the health of the hair and it can weaken its roots. Just as we take care of our body, we are supposed to take care of our hair. Apart from beauty treatments of the hair, general practices like having a healthy diet, sleeping properly, avoiding stress and anxiety, regularly cleaning the hair and drinking ample amount of water is essential for normal health of the hair.
Basic steps that can be considered to prevent hair fall and dandruff are:-
- Massage the hair with coconut oil or almond oil for 15 to 20 minutes before taking bath.
- Enhance the quality of your diet. Increase the intake of protein foods like milk, sprouted nuts, and soybeans. Apart from this, have ample amounts of vegetables especially green leafy vegetables and fruits. These nutrients tend to improve the strength of the hair.
- Boil fenugreek seeds in coconut or olive oil. Strain the oil and apply on the scalp for few minutes. This can prevent hair fall.
- Apply lemon juice on the scalp for dandruff or mix one part of lemon juice with two parts of coconut oil and apply it on the scalp. This can prevent formation of dandruff.
- Add 1 teaspoon of camphor to half a cup of coconut oil. Massage this oil before going to bed. This is useful for dandruff.
- General care like avoiding hair dryers, bleaches, gels sprays, harsh clips and bands, covering the head while going out in sun are essential for maintaining the health of the hair.
