Diabetes and Pregnancy

Hi,I am diabetic, and planning to have children soon. Does that is going to affect my partner or to an embryo. Please acknowledge.

It is very important to have proper control over your blood sugar levels once you are pregnant (otherwise is also important but during pregnancy it becomes critical). Your diabetes will not affect your partner in any ways as it is not a communicable disorder, but yes as the fetus will grow in your tummy for 9 months it would be important to have control during that period to avoid any pregnancy related complications such as macrosomia or big babies.
