Natural Remedies to Remove Hair

A beauty of women is enhanced by having a perfect figure, an intelligent mind and a polite attitude. Apart from this the beauty is enhanced when we take care of ourselves regularly. Facial massages, hair treatments, manicure and pedicure are being done regularly so that the women look attractive. In addition, women tend to remove unwanted hair. Unwanted hair is that hair present on the legs, arms, underarms, bikini line and face. Some women may go in for temporary hair removal technique while some may go in for permanent hair removal technique like laser therapy. Some of the natural techniques used are waxing, threading, tweezing, sugaring, shaving, buffing are some of the methods available for removing unwanted hair.

Waxing, threading, tweezing and sugaring tend to pull the hair out. Shaving and buffing tend to scrape the hair off. The various methods of hair removal are as follows:-

  • Waxing: Waxing is technique which pulls the hair off. It can be painful initially but then you will get used to it. This can also pull a section of skin along with the hair which can lead to redness and irritation. This method is affordable and can be done at home and salon. Apply warmed wax on the skin. Place the cloth on the wax and rub the cloth so that the cloth gets adhered to the wax and pull off quickly at the opposite direction of the hair growth. This method is cost effective.
  • Sugaring: A very common ingredient is used. Sugaring is done only on the hair and the skin is being spared. Sugar is applied on the skin and the cloth is used to pull off the hair. This method is also painful and post moisturizing treatment is needed after sugaring.
  • Threading: This method is cost effective but it can be done only in small areas like around the eyes. This also needs a skilled professional who can do this job neatly and with great speed. This method needs a cotton thread that is being rolled and twisted on the skin that lifts and pulls the hair gently from the roots.
  • Tweezing: This is an old and inexpensive method. It doesn’t hurt so much and it can be carried on any part of the body.
  • Shaving: This technique requires a razor and natural shaving cream. The cream is applied on the skin and shaved with a razor. However it is not long lasting as it removes hair only from the surface level of the skin.
  • Buffing: This method is less commonly used but it is inexpensive. A buff mitt is rubbed on the skin. It works well for fine hair but it is not long lasting.
