Vitamins for Wrinkles

Vitamins are organic compound that are needed in the diet in small amounts for the normal maintenance of the growth and health of the individual. The degradation of the vitamins is low. There are about 15 vitamins needed by the humans. Vitamins are classified as fat soluble and water soluble. The four vitamins, Vitamin A, D, E and K are known as fat soluble vitamins as their availability in the diet, digestion, absorption and transport are associated with fat. They are soluble in fats and oils and can be stored in the liver. Excess consumption of these vitamins can lead to their accumulation and toxic effects. The water soluble vitamins like Vitamin C and B group are soluble in water. Most of these vitamins are readily excreted in the urine and are not toxic to the body. They are not stored in the body and depletion of these vitamins can lead to deficiency symptoms. Hence these vitamins need to be supplied through the diet regularly. The water soluble vitamins form coenzymes that participate in a variety of biochemical reactions.
