Secret Tips for Weight Loss

Here are some important tips that will help you in your quest to lose weight for good -

  • As you set about your goals of shedding pounds, start with losing around eight to ten pounds initially and maintain that level of loss for the next three to four months. After than attempt at losing additional 10 percent of the weight. It's a quite a task to lose more than 10 pounds at one go and moreover of you have set a target of losing a specific number of pounds, divide it in a reasonable time frame and aim to achieve it steadily. Doing so, will ensure you stay off those pounds for good.
  • Don't wait for starvation mode to set in, while waiting for food. Starving for food will only cause you to binge and gorge on foods and it is possible that you may start to eat food that is sweet and fatty. Moreover depriving yourself of food will keep you thinking about eating all day long and one little temptation is enough to start all over again.
  • Eat between meals and choose small snacks such as skimmed yoghurt with fruit, light snacks such as crackers with salsa dip, a handful of pecan nuts and raisins, nibble on whole meal bread or fruit as snacks.
