Weight loss is achieved by eating a balanced diet. Include more complex carbohydrates. Refined foods are avoided. Reduce the starch in the diet and increase the vegetables and fruits in the diet. Saturated fats are avoided and replaced by poly unsaturated fats. Trans fats are not recommended. French fries, chips and other processed foods are not included. Cooking methods that involve a lot of oil, such as deep fat frying are avoided. A strictly followed diet in combination with exercise is effective.
Walking, swimming, jogging and cycling are the easiest forms of exercise. At least 45 minutes of exercise on a daily basis is helpful. A healthy diet with exercise is an effective weight loss system which not only decreases the weight, but also decreases the bad cholesterol. Eating at the proper time is important. Eating at odd hours, such as a late dinner, results in improper digestion and weight increase. Sleeping right after dinner or lunch is not recommended. At least three hours of gap is essential between sleep and meal intake.
