ENERGY AND OBESITY

Most of the population of the developed world is overweight or obese.



This rising incidence of obesity holds serious implications for the health of the future generation. Obesity can lead to a wide range of ailments such as arthritis, joint pain, diabetes, heart disease, and increased susceptibility to cancer.



It also brings with it a host of psychological problems such as inferiority complexes and feelings of inadequacy. The life expectancy of obese plan is also much shorter as compared to those who are within their ideal weight range.



 Obesity can be easily combated with a structured weight management program, a little perseverance, and some discipline. All it takes is some regular exercise and a well regulated diet. In order to avoid obesity, it is essential that your daily intake of calories meets your body’s calorie requirements. If you consume more calories than your body needs, you will put on weight.

Fruit and vegetable juices are an excellent method of delivering all the vital nutrients to the body. At the same time they also ensure that the stomach feels full, so that you do not overeat.



Another excellent method of combating obesity is to consume foods that are rich in dietary fibers such as whole-wheat bread, brown rice, etc. Dietary fibers also give a feeling of satiety and help curb overeating.
