Carrot, spinach and tomato juice:

Which fresh vegetable juices are good for to develop good eye vision and total body activeness?

Vitamin A plays an important role in maintaining a good vision of a person.

Vegetables that are good source of vitamin A can be eaten liberally or their juice can be taken. One of the vegetable that tastes excellent in the juice form which is beneficial for the eyes and over all health is carrot. Carrots, besides being a very good source of vitamin A is also rich in many other nutrients like B-complex vitamins, magnesium, copper, sodium, potassium, phosphorus, chlorine, iron and sulfur.

Some of the first signs of vitamin A deficiency include difficulty to adjust the sight in dim light from bright light; for example when you enter in a dark theater or a dark room from bright lighted room. Carrot juice can effectively help strengthen the eye sight and prevent further deficiency. Carrots can be mixed with other vegetable juices like tomatoes and green leafy vegetables mainly spinach for variety and other nutrients from these vegetables.

A combination of fruits and vegetable juice can also be tried if you need variety. Some yellow orange fruits like mango and papaya can also blend well with carrots in juice form and provide the essential nutrients for good vision and total body health. These other mentioned fruits and vegetables like papaya, mango, spinach and tomatoes are also a good source of vitamin A. Vitamin A functions mainly for good vision, but it also has other important physiological functions in our body. It plays an essential role to keep all the mucous membranes that line the cavities of the body in a healthy condition. It promotes the growth of healthy bones and teeth, maintains normal glandular functions, maintains healthy body tissues, protects against or resistance to infections, and also maintains a healthy immune system.

Besides juices you can also think of including all the fresh vegetables and fruits in your diet to get all the vitamins and minerals essential for health. Remember not one single vegetable or fruit will have all the nutrients, so variety is the key. Include all the seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet; if you like juices then take them in juice form.

If you experience any vitamin deficiency related to vision or have any problems with proper vision then consult a specialist to check your eye sight first. A specialist may help arrest any problem and a prompt treatment will help prevent further damage to the vision.
