Juice Fast Weight Loss

 

Juice fasting weight loss is a type of diet that helps in loss of the extra pounds.



It involves a diet of juice and water. The juice is made from fresh fruits and vegetables. It supplies high amounts of phyto nutrients, minerals and vitamins. It helps in detoxification of the body; flushing the toxins from the body. The diet is followed for one to twenty eight days.



It is initially started as a three day fast, to allow the body to get used to the same.

Fresh juices are preferred and a combination of fruits and vegetables are used. This provides wholesome nutrition. Cellular wastes are removed. Fatigue, insomnia and headache are the commonly seen symptoms.



The circulatory system is boosted, thereby eliminating the toxins. More nutrients are released from the fibre of the vegetable or fruit. As, there are no solids involved, chewing is not necessary, thereby saving a lot of energy.

Intense workouts are not allowed. Mild walking is allowed while on a juice fasting weight loss diet. Juices are consumed immediately after preparation, to avoid the enzymes from breaking down the other nutrients. It helps in suppressing the appetite and thereby aids in weight loss. Readymade juices are avoided, as they have additives and lesser nutrient value.

Introduce variety in the juice fast diet, by including a variety of colored veggies. This breaks the monotony and helps in sticking on to the diet. Filtered water is preferred. Smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol is not recommended. About 32 to 64 ounces of juice is allowed on a daily basis, along with six glasses of drinking water. Juices are made from organic foods. Peeling the skin off the vegetable or fruit is a better alternative.



Non toxic cleaners are also preferred.

Juice fasting helps in weight loss, by removing excess fats from the system. It is considered better to any other weight loss programs, owing to the lack of any side effect. It is safe to follow, provided, there are no other underlying complications. About twenty to one hundred pounds of weight loss is seen in certain cases. The effectiveness of the diet depends on the chemical composition of the individual. This diet rejuvenates the system and energizes the body.
Juice diet also increases the vitality of an individual, irrespective of the age. The immunity levels are enhanced, due to their content of vitamins, phyto chemicals, antioxidants and minerals. Long term adherence to a juice fasting diet calls for supervision by a medical practitioner.
