Hair Loss

This is often an inherited condition about which nothing much can be done.

None the less a daily rub of the scalp with nettle juice is said to help as is:
Spinach 10 II oz (275ml); lettuce 10 II oz (275ml)
Consumed daily for at least 6 months.

Read the section on lettuce before embarking on this method of restor¬ing hair.

Another juice combination is:
Alfalfa 6 II oz (175ml); lettuce 4 II oz (100ml); carrot 6 II oz (175ml).

Hangover

It is doubted whether the readers of this book will be so indiscreet as to suffer from this condition themselves; none the less anyone may find it necessary to give treatment.
If you can, persuade the heavy drinker to take at least a pint (550ml), preferably two (1 liter), of water before retiring to bed.

In the morning he will be suffering from vitamin B deficiency, vitamin C deficiency and a headache.

Try the following combinations:

2 tablespoonfuls (30ml) dried yeast, 4 tablespoonfuls (60ml) honey in 1pt (550ml) of cirrus juice or papaya or pineapple juice. Repeat every two hours.
